The Keiki Paddle 2026 Honoring Isla Fay - Saturday, August 8th, 2026
Click here to register to paddle

BOAT ASSIGNMENTS for all registered paddlers will be sent out on Friday, August 7th so please hang tight until then.

The Keiki Paddle is a peer-to-peer fundraising event where registered participants are provided a personal fundraising page to raise a minimum of $250 on behalf of our honoree.

Families of two or more siblings can register as a Family Team, allowing for a parent to register their kids under a single account while still allowing each child to fundraise on their own. Each sibling’s fundraising contributes to their Family Team fundraising goal.

100% of donations go directly to Isla and her family.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT STARTED FUNDRAISING, please send your fundraising page link to your family, friends, and co-workers.
____________

If you would like to VOLUNTEER on the day of the event, please email keikipaddle@gmail.com or show up the day of the paddle. We will set up shade tents, tables and chairs at Leadbetter Beach Park around 12:00 PM on Saturday, then will be handing out burritos and treats as the kids hit the beach.

We ask that the participants' FAMILIES bring fruit, treats, or drinks to share at the landing party.

If you have any QUESTIONS regarding volunteering, please contact us keikipaddle@gmail.com.

____________

THE PADDLE. The Keiki Paddle is a 9-mile open ocean paddle relay from Campus Point, Goleta to Leadbetter Beach, Santa Barbara. The paddlers make their way down the coast with the wind at their backs arriving at Leadbetter Beach around 3:00 PM where they are greeted by family and friends to celebrate our honoree, Isla Fay.

Contact your Boat Captain once you receive boat assignments on Friday, August 7th. Parents should plan not to be on the boat with their child unless invited by their Boat Captain. The paddlers will receive a swag bag from their Boat Captain.

The paddle starts at the Santa Barbara Harbor on Saturday morning where paddlers board their assigned boats and then motor up to Campus Point.

Paddlers are responsible for bringing their own prone paddle board or stand-up paddle board in coordination with their assigned Boat Captain and fellow paddlers (surfboards are ok, kayaks are not allowed).

Food is not served on the boat.  Paddlers should bring their own snacks and water. Paddlers should be prepared for a variety of conditions in the water.  Wetsuits may be worn, as well as hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

The paddlers will be escorted down the coast by 25 experienced boat captains, as well as a Safety Team composed of firefighters, paramedics, and seasoned paddlers. The safety of all participants is of utmost importance.

At the landing, the paddlers will be served Chicken Ranch Burritos, as well as fruit, treats, and drinks that are DONATED by the families of paddle.

THANK YOU for all your support! We are looking forward to an epic paddle this year. Let's do it for Isla!
